The Crew takes on Temecula Creek

When Matt got engaged his thoughts turned immediately to the thing all grooms-to-be look forward to most: The Bachelor Party.  Now, while he knew his fiance wouldn't appreciate him taking off on a week-long surf trip, a weekend golf trip was definitely doable.  After some research his best man found a local gem not too far from home that offered exactly what they were looking for and then some!

Temecula Creek Inn boasts a 27-Hole championship golf course with more than 300 acres of natural beauty offering elevation changes, mountain views and plenty of sun.  Golf Digest gave the course a Four-Star rating in their "Places to Play".

The best part for the guys was the personal putting green with an outdoor light. Using string and some tees to make the holes, they set up a 9-hole course and had a putting competition. If you hit the string it was a one stroke penalty. You can imagine that the amount of alcohol definitely made this one heck of a challenge!  Everyone that played (some of us were in no condition to hold a club, let alone putt) threw in $5 and the winner got the pot.  By the end, there was a two person playoff.  The first player drained a 14 footer which put pressure on the other guy to make it. He barely missed the putt and the winner walked with $70.

 We can definitely recommend this place, in fact, we went back for another bachelor party two years later!
